There is a farm that takes in hurt and sick dogs. There are all kind of different animals at the farm and the people go out of their way to help them. AT one point there are two foxes who run way and take a dog with them and they poor grandpa can not find them. There is a goose who gets shot in the neck and they have to get him better or he will die. They eventually heal him and the gets to go home and find his mate. In this book, the character descriptions were not that great, but there is a sequel so maybe in the next book there will be more development of them. I did not realize that there was another book until I was finished reading, but I am interested in reading the next one to see what happens. ( ) "Wild Times at the Bed and Biscuit" is an adventurious chapter book about animals. Grampa opens his doors to wild animals who are in need of homes and his house turns upside down. This fiction book is great for introducing personification in a fun and adventurous way. Definitely recommended for upper elementary school readers! nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
