This cute story features different types of dinosaurs and the ways they say I love you! Throughout the book the dinosaurs demonstrate good behavior to their moms. Such as thinking before they speak when they are angry and holding their mom's hand when they are at the grocery store. This would be a great book to read to primary students, especially when you want to talk about good behaviors and mannerisms! This book can spark discussions and makes it fun for children with the dinosaurs included. ( )

Kids thought it was funny, and the parents thought it was even funnier. Super cute, but veeery short for storytime. A kid actually asked, "Is that it??" ( )

Didn't like this one as much as the others. It uses a different pattern (bad behavior, good behavior, bad, good, etc.) with the parents telling the dinosaur "I love you" after only the good behavior...made it seem a bit conditional. ( )

I would use this book with Kindergarten, 1st, and possibly second grade as a read aloud because gain understanding of actions of family members positive or negative.

I think this book could be used all the way up to third grade. Although it is intended for a very young audience, it could be incorporated into science to introduce dinosaurs and pre-historic things in social studies. Could be a fun lesson starter. ( )
