DESCRIPTION, NOT REVIEW: Chloe Sinclair has never been bad . . . until she stumbles—literally—into the arms of a gorgeous stranger. To make matters worse, the morning after, her world is rocked completely off its axis when the sensual dreamboat turns out to be the man brought in to save the TV station where she works. Sterling Prescott is hard-driven, gorgeous as hell, and determined to turn the struggling KTEX into a success. But all bets are off when the shameless wildcat that disappeared on him last night walks back into his life—acting like a squeaky-clean librarian. Life gets truly complicated, however, when Sterling decides to win more than the station—and to show Chloe that being sexy isn’t a sin. Ugh. The characters are okay, but the plot of this book is laughable. It's predictable, but I came into this knowing what I was going to get - TRU LUV! When I read that Chloe and Sterling (who the hell is named Sterling, anyway?) had to work together in order to save the station, I immediately thought 'Odd Couple Cop Drama' and that's when the book started going downhill. It gets worse - Sterling becomes the Objective in 'The Catch and His Dozen Roses' (that is a seriously awful name), and Chloe has to fill in for one of the contestants. Yeah, I totally see this happening. Just when you think it can't get any better, well it does! This second in the series, well I couldn't put it down. The Editorial Review sums up the book but you must read to fully enjoy the authors take on the second friend, Chloe and her love Sterling. The book was warm and I just loved Linda's take on the TV Bachelor Series which these three friends produce in El Paso Tx.....brillant! I can't wait for the final in the series which looks to be released the end of October. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
