Chew was far more goofy and entertaining than I was expecting. A real thrill to read each panel. Great characters, wacky situations. Some of the details are incredibly satisfying like the text in speech bubbles fading to indicate a whisper. (

Poultry prohibition, yakuza chicken smuggling, and a detective who gets his clues by psychic impressions of what he eats. Enjoyed this immensely. (

clever and fun. would enjoy more visceral descriptions/depictions of what Chu eats, but it was a fun quick read.
