I am lucky to live in an area that sets aside so much space in forest preserves, and has so many trails in the suburbs. I live near the Prairie Path now, and I love being connected to seemingly every part of northern Illinois. Anyway, this book gave me some interesting ideas of where I can go on my next few adventures. Recommended for Illinoisans who feel the urge to check out someplace new, and explore it by foot. ( )
