More than a how-to book, it's sewing as high ART. I would love to see more illustrations of the application of these techniques as pure art. Covered are ruffles, flounces, godets, pleats, smocking, tucks, couching, quilting and trapunto. The lack of color is a plus in the photos as it does not detract from the design of the piece.
