This book starts telling information and about their journey to earth. Starting with big facts about the water and land then getting down to the continents and the people and animals on them. My personal reaction to this book was that it had a lot of good facts in it. This book has a lot of information in it that deals with the earth. There are a lot of great pictures that show the facts. This book would be good in a science part of a class. This book shows the facts about the earth so it would be a good idea on a day on learning about our planet earth to read this to children. This would present facts to them in memorable way. I checked this book out because my daughter and I are currently studying the oceans and the continents--where they're at, their names, which is the biggest, which is the smallest, etc. While this book isn't perfectly suited for our needs (it goes into more details about the continents than I'd prefer), it's a good book to read to get a better idea of the geography of our Earth. It tells a bit about each continent and gives an overview of our world's geography, and it does so in a quirky way that gets the attention of younger readers. My daughter asked me on each page, "What's that? What's the robot doing? Why is that giraffe looking at the robot?" That sort of thing. In some ways, it turned into a more educational experience than I had even thought it would be. All in all, a good book if you're looking to spark interest in your child about our world as a whole. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione

Thoughts and Feelings: My favorite part of this book was when one of the robots asked a fire hydrant to take him to their leader in North America.
