This is an informative book about the celebration of Christmas. It explains why we honor the birth of Jesus near the Winter solstice and it describes holiday traditions and celebrations, old and new, around the world. It also talks about how we celebrate christmas today and why we do celebrate it. All in all the book was a good children's book to help children understand the importance of Christmas. ( )
