Miro lived in a kingdom of the incas and she mostly did things around her brothers and she took care of the llamas on their property. This book is about two brothers that set off to find water from a special lake far, far away for their king that has fallen ill. They go as far as they feel they could, and get water from a random lake, not the special lake far, far away. They think the king will not know the difference, but he does and lock them away in a dungeon. Their sister then goes on the journey to find the king special water, and is helped by the forest to get the water. She comes across the special lake guarded by three different monsters, but since the forest gave her special feathers, she is untouched. The monsters allow her to get the water, and she flies home to give the king the water. The king releases her brother because of her courage and give of the special water to the king. ( )
