A child watches her mother and father as they work with their hands, and she knows she wants to build and sew and garden and paint just like them. This book talks about the different ways a girl’s parents work with their hands and how she too aspires to work with her hands like them. Her father uses his hands to build and measure, while her mother uses her hand hands to cut, sew, and garden. With the encouragement of her parents she takes what she learned from both of them and starts to create things on her own. It is a very cute pop-up style the book illustrates the effect parents have on their child. The fact that this book was interactive in the shapes of the pages made it a little more likely for students or readers to pay attention. This was a great tactic for this book, which explains how a young child watches their mother and father do their daily tasks or hobbies and become infatuated and wants to be like them. I think this is a great book for young children because naturally children want to do whatever their parent is doing. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
