Contains Chapters 09 - 12: At the beginning of this volume Zen's brother Prince Izana causes Zen and Shirayuki some problems by inviting Prince Raj (Prince of Tanbarun - Shirayuki's original home) to visit them at the palace. Then Zen decides to assign Obi as Shirayuki's unofficial guard in case anyone decides to bother her because of their connection. The last part of this volume is the start of a new storyline involving a girl named Kihal Toghrul who came to the palace requesting the Prince to stop Viscount Brecker from hunting all the birds on her island that her people work with for various reasons including communication and fishing. This volume leaves off on a cliffhanger so I look forward to reading the next volume. (
