Oddly is a book about three animals and a little boy. All four were lost in their own special way. The animals had their favorite things with them, but they still felt empty inside. Along the beach came a lost, lonely boy. The little boy began crying, saying he was so far away from home that he did not know how to get back. The animals were confused. The boy spoke of love and home, and the animals got even more confused. They did not know what love was, but they each gave him their favorite things, and the boy felt love. He hugged the animals, and suddenly they felt assured and at home.
