This could be used in higher elementary or middle school classes for first introductions to punctuation or as a refresher for students who are learning how to write paragraphs and full-length papers. Punctuation Celebration is a book of poems that give punctuation markers a voice about how they should be used in writing as well as helpful examples. ( ) This is the best book to use when you are teaching punctuations. It shows how and when to use punctuations properly. Punctuation Celebration gives us an idea of the different types of punctuation and what each ones purpose is in the sentence. This book can help students who struggle with punctuation. Commas help a train slow down, quotation marks tell people what to do, colons stubbornly introduce lists and periods stop sentences. I really enjoyed this children's book. I feel like it would be great to read while teaching or reinforcing punctuation. This book was really cute and engaging to read and would be a good read aloud for late kindergarten, first grade, or second graders who are struggling with punctuation use. This book is also a poem and uses a lot of rhyming words. Punctuation Marks come alive in this clever book that focuses on fourteen different playful poems. These poems focus on the different types of punctuation and what each ones purpose is in the sentence and adjustments of words.
