It's riddles about famous children's books, you have to solve the riddles that gives you hints to "name the book" that's being talked about. Like rapunzel, Charlotte's web, Cinderella, the polar express I knew this one right away I love polar express that's my favorite Christmas movie! I loved the illustrations they show two young detectives and a dog I guess "on the case" to solve the riddles they were cool and fun. I would read this to third graders the poems are very tricky even I didn't get most of the riddles. The last page gives you the list of books that riddled. ( ) I LOVED this book! The author was very creative and wrote poems about well known stories, but with only concerning the plot. This book is a really fun book to read and makes the reader put thought into the riddle. The book is very engaging and kids would stay interested the entire time, I think anyways! This book will cause the students to use context clues, the illustrations and prior knowledge to figure out the riddle. I absolutely love "Spot the Plot". This collection of riddles takes on some famous children's books, but can you guess them with just the plot? This book is so fun, and even I had to put some thought into answering these riddles. This is a great children's riddle book. Children will love having to figure out the name of the book with just knowing the plot. I am not sure if there are more collections like this one, but I would love to have them if there are. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
