This is a sweet book about a little girl who receives a kitten for Christmas. They do everything together when they are both young, but as the girl grows older, they are not as active as they used to be. The girl grows into a woman, gets married, leaves her cat at her parents, but then brings her daughter to meet her old cat on Christmas. The cat feels appreciated and loved again by his owner's daughter. ( ) Captain Whiz-Bang was Annies new cat. They did everything together and he was a very active cat. Annie grew up and had a daughter. Her daughter wanted a cat so Annie introduced her daughter to Captain Whiz-Bang. Her daughter loved the cat and she decided she wanted Captain Whiz-Bang for her pet cat. This book is about a little girl, Annie, who gets a cat, Captain Whiz-Bang, for Christmas. The two do everything together. At the beginning of the book the two run around and are very active. As the book goes on the little girl grows older and so does the cat. When Annie has a child of her own she brings her to see the cat and shows her pictures of when they were both young. Some children may be able to relate to this story, however, several of them are probably just now getting new pets and they are joyous and bountiful. The cat in this story is like that in the beginning, but she turns into an old cat that just liked to lay around all day. The children will have to realize that their pet will get older one day too, so it may teach them a lesson to use their time wisely with their pet. This story is about a girl who gets a kitten on christmas morning. The two become inseparable. The run around playing together. As the girl grows up she doesn't run around as much but it is ok because the cat is also growing up and not running around as much. The girl grows up and becomes a mother.
