The illustrations in Chicken Little go well with the humor that is in the book. I enjoyed this retelling. It's a great way to teach children to think for themselves and not just blindly follow.

Famous old tale of Chicken little running for his life because the acorn fell on his head--the illustrations make the tale even more funny, enjoyable and engaging for children. They will enjoy each character that joins in the run clear to the end where they end up in the Fox's mouth and realize where they are. My only complaint for this version (and maybe others that I have just not noticed) is that it ends kind of suddenly. ( )

Chicken Little is a traditional literature book that tells about an anxious chicken. An acorn falls on Chicken Little's head, so he thinks that the sky is falling, and begins to tell other animals that the sky is falling. But when they bump into Foxy Loxy, he almost eats them up. This book would be great to read to Kindergarten to second grade students. There is a lot of repetition and the illustrations are very fun and colorful.

The classic tale of chicken little. This is a retelling of the story about Chicken Little being hit in the head with an acorn. Since something fell out of the sky, he believed the sky was falling. He ran around telling everyone that the sky was falling. Eventually everyone believed the sky was falling and at the end they were almost eaten alive by a fox in their moment of panic. The moral of the story is to approach things logically and not panic or jump to conclusions. ( )

I enjoyed this book and the crazy Chicken Little who thinks that the sky is falling. Children would be very entertained and engaged by this book and its colorful illustrations that pop off the page. Chicken Little gets hit on the head by an acorn and thinks that the sky is falling. He then gets a bunch of his friends together as they all panic that the sky is falling and they, unknowingly, run right into the mouth of a fox. In the end they find a way out of trouble so the book can end happily. ( )
