Dorothy jumped down from her bed and ran to the door. When she opened it, she gave a cry of surprise. She was not looking at the gray prairie anymore. The house was in a beautiful country that was covered with green grass and tall trees. There were flowers of every color in the grass and the trees were full of delicious fruit. Birds sang and there was a little stream of clear water. "How different this country is from Kansas!" Dorothy cried. "I have never seen such a beautiful place. Where am I? And how did I get here?" ( )

This is wonderful story.
One day, Dorothy was blown off to a beauatiful country which she had never seen. To go back to her hometown, she tried to do her best with help that her friends who became friendly on her journey gave to her. At last, she could go back to her hometown.
I had heard the title of this book but I had not known its story in detail. I thought Dorothy was brave enought and kind to her friends. I was glad to read it ! it was very interesting . Please read it ! I suppose you'll enjoy reading, too. ( )
