The Story of King Arthur & His Knights is a collection of tales belonging to the King Arthur mythology. It starts with Arthur drawing the sword from the stone and ends with Sir Gawain marrying his fairy wife. Though not the greatest collection of King Arthur tales I have read, it was just perfect for reading aloud with my son. He loved the stories and it definitely piqued his interest in King Arthur. (

I read this book to my 4th grade class and it was interesting to them as we had just completed our unit on the middle ages. In the future I think I will only read the most interesting stories instead of the entire book because they did loose interest during some of the stories. (

)
