Yes, very cute, and the short rhymes, bouncy rhythm, and scribbly style art were all very apt. And I like the words that will expand the child's vocabulary. And I like how a teacher could use this as a foundation for a creative writing exercise. But somehow I did not fall over myself loving this, even though I do like cats. Sorry.

39 months - Posy looks a lot like our new kitty Mango (no she's not orange she's more tortie). This would be great for very young kids or older kids with a love of cats. Very short rhyming text that will make anyone who's owned a cat laugh. "Game wrecker" especially had me laughing aloud in the library. We've had many an involved board game completely annihilated by a cat who chose to lay down in the middle of it. Fun book! ( )

Such expressive, lively illustrations--this is a great vocabulary builder and lots of fun for cat lovers. (My husband and I read it together and loved it.)
