I felt it was too long and I lost interest and then just got confused about the story. The only thing I liked about the story is that it ended the same way it started. It tells what each of the animals are doing on this special day when the hunters are about to hunt. There is a lot of repetition in this story each time added a different part. I would not recommend this book for poetry. ( ) "The Cabbages Are Chasing the Rabbits" by Arnold Adoff has a similar poetry form to "Where Wild Willie." This book was better than "Where Wild Willie" because the sentences weren't as choppy and had more than just a few words in them, so it allowed the reader to follow the story better. The poem still followed the same rule as far as placing the sentences and words in a strategic way for the reader to know which words and sentences went with each other and which words rhymed. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
