Well this collection of photographs and poems was pretty strange. Interesting in some respects, but strange. Even though the photos are all of dead people (figuratively obviously) they're at least of high quality and the idea behind them is quite interesting. A photo says a 1000 words, but each of these photos tells the end of a story, and they hint at the rest of the unknown story, so you're getting quite a bit more than you bargained for. ( ) As an avid Amanda Palmer fan it is, naturally, a must have. But it's much more than a fun companion to the Who Killed Amanda Palmer album, it's also a wonderful piece of art. It's filled front to back with STUNNING pictures of the "dead" Amanda Palmer shot by various photographers (including kyle Cassidy & Beth Hommel) in almost enless, and often times very interesting, situations. The accompanying stories by Neil Gaiman are nothing short of perfect. They range from ironically hilarious to intensely disturbing. Sprinkled in are some of the lyrics from the WKAP album, which add an interesting layer to both the songs and the book. Please note that this book is not a gore or gross-out type of book by any means, it is 100% ART. I bought this book last year at an Evelyn Evelyn concert in Chicago for $40. Pre-signed by Neil & signed after the concert by Amanda. Absolutely worth it. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
