AJJ3WPGE This novel acts as a collection of the many tales of king Arthur and the knights of the round table. As such the Book contains several different messages that vary dependent on the tale being read. Two examples include the importance of innocents and piety during Galahad's search for the holy grail and the consequences of infidelity the occur during Lancelot's affair with Queen Guinevere. I enjoy this compilation of the tales of Camelot. One of my favorite parts of the book series is the early medieval setting. The setting is attractive to many male readers who fantasized about being a noble knight. The book does a wonderful job of establishing the setting early in the books through its description of the landscape and castles, and by including depictions of the characters clothing in the text as well as in the illustrations. these included pieces of information truly help the reader be transported back in time to become a witness to the tales. Another thing I enjoyed about the book was the effective characterization of the knights throughout the story. The characterization shows the reader the true essence of the knights through the book and helps the reader understand the actions of the character. For example, Galahad was a character that was pure of heart. He quested with other knights of the round table to find the holy grail, but when the other knights become distracted by more earthly affairs like wealth and land Galahad continued on his quest alone to find the grail out of dedication to the King and to the Lord. Because of his pure heart and dedication to the quest Galahad was the only knight able to find the Holy Grail. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
