Another good Sharon McCone mystery. This is an older book and it is somewhat jarring to hear several of the characters described as "Oriental," a term which is now considered offensive by some, but it does not detract from the story. Also jarring is how misogynistic the character of ex-boyfriend cop Greg comes across as. Good characters and not overly predictable. (

Always well written. This one set around the holidays. Like how she takes what was happening in SF at the time with Vietnamese immigrants and weaving it into a story. (

Just ok. I didn't like the reference of fat people used in her descriptions. otherwise...ho hum (
