This is a good book if your interest is in studying Arabic grammar. But, with out a native arab speaker this will not enable you to learn the language. It is more a work book for a arabic class. Additionally, it is very dated in the language it uses. The arabic language has undergone a lot of changes in the area of vocabulary in the past several years. Unfortunately this book does not reflect that. It is a great reference book if you need to look up how to use a particular form of basic arabic grammar.
