In this particular edition, edited by John MacArthur, there are a myriad of maps, diagrams, footnotes, cross references and more to help you learn and understand God's word. If you're looking for a good study Bible, I highly recommend this one. ( )

Repeatedly people are combining this NASB MacArthur Study Bible with The MacArthur Topical Bible (which is not a Bible, but a reference book), The MacArthur Student Bible (which is radically different, lacking the notes, for ex), or one of the 2 different MacArthur Bibles (one has a concordance, one does not) that are in the NKJV not the NASB...and other books...so caution, there are many dissimilar books that might be combined here no matter how many times correction is attempted.
The MacArthur Study Bible: New King James Version (photos typically show brown/black bos) is very, very significantly different in content from the The MacArthur Study Bible: Revised & Updated (green/black box photo) and should not be combined, even though both are NKJV translations, the Revised & Updated. For ex, the Revised & Updated has added a 125-page Concordance missing altogether in the previous edition, and the Topical Index is also different. They should not be combined.
