Molly Moon is an 11 year old girl, with hypnotic powers, who has been reunited with her parents after her uncle hypnotized them in an attempt to take over the Presidency of the United States.

In this book she is kidnapped along with her pug, Petula by the evil self-proclaimed Maharajah Waqt (Time) & his minion. He also kidnaps Molly as a baby, a 3 year old, a 6 year old, and a 10 year old......

The story, mostly set in India, goes back and forth between 1870, the 21st Century and the beginning of time.

This was one confusing book to read...I could never tell which time they were in, I couldn't remember how Molly's friends came to be with her...and considering this is a children's book, I have no idea how they could keep up.

Needless to say, I didn't like it very much! ( )

Imagine you are about to face the meanest, greatest, ugliest maharaja, or an Indian "high king" that stole his place to the top by hypnotizing the king. Then, he plans to take over the world through Primo Cell, but of course Molly Moon interferes, and that's how the story begins.

Molly Moon is quite moony if you ask me. She also has a petite little pug named petula, which is coincidentally on the front cover of almost every book. She can hypnotize people with her emerald-green eyes, and freeze the world. Now she is going to time travel.

The Maharaja of Waqt (or the Maharaja of Time) is a fat and ugly man, who is scarred by time traveling so much. He plans a great revenge for Molly Moon, for she keeps on revising his horrible plans into happt ones. Not for long though.

Waqt has used his time traveling crystals and captured a baby Molly Moon, and three-year-old Molly Moon, a six-year-old Molly Moon, a puppy Petula, a ten-year-old Molly Moon, and a ten-year-old Rocky, Molly's friend that's a boy.

Might you ask what he is doing? He's adopting all those little Molly's and making them change the original Molly's past, and stop her from interfering from his evil plans.

Of course, they run through a series of adventrue's in India, where Waqt lives, and battle a lot of unyielding battles. Molly rescues the ten-year-old Rocky, and meet their new-found friend Ojas, which means "power" or "the strong one". Along, the perilous trip, Molly hypnotizes a lot of people, find a lot of clues, and haves a very bad time.

Waqt's evil plans are heartbreaking and wreaches. Will Molly Moon help her younger selves in time?

At the end of the book, Molly's life becomes life-threatening, because Waqt is planning to execute the ten-year-old Molly, but the oringinal Molly comes to the rescue, places Waqt in a different time (like billions of years back), hypnotizes his evil servant, Zackya, to help others, takes away all the time travelling crystals, and places the other Molly's in the right times.

Molly is the hero of the day again!

(if you want to read the details a little farther, enjoy the mystic world Molly encounters in the book!!!!) ( )
