Dumb bunnies is about a family of not very intelligent family of bunnies who go on adventures. First they decide to go on a vacation in a storm and then they go on an outing to a movie. They run into problems like not being able to see the movie screen because they are facing backwards and running over cars because they could hardly see anything. The story ends with baby bunny asking if it would be okay if he watched tv in his pjs. Mother bunny says yes and the next page reveals baby bunny with a television set in his pjs.

This is a humorous book that students would really enjoy to listen to. This book would instantly interest your students because of its humor so you could add in different elements of teaching with this text. The author uses play on language and content to make the storyline funny. When the author is describing what the bunnies are doing he says things like "Momma bunny was watching the Orange Bowl" and momma bunny is literally watching an orange bowl not a football game. So, the kids could see how you could use play on language and your own voice to create a really funny and engaging story for the audience.

A hit in storytime - as with other Dumb Bunnies books, great for audience participation and finding everything wrong with the pictures.
