This is a fascinating book about how the human body and everything around our everyday experiences are related to science. For example, the author explains why a pitcher can skillfully create a “curve ball”. The ball actually curves because it has more pressure on the left side than it does on the right side, and the direction of the air flow makes the ball curve. The photographer does a wonderful job of illustrating a multitude of colored pictures that shows science at work. I think this book is great for the scientifically curious student since it discusses the laws of physics, but it also an attractive book for the any student since many of the topics discussed have to do with everyday life.
