The rhyme scheme and illustration of this book makes it very easy to read to children and they really enjoy it. I feel like kids would laugh at the silly things in the book and would even try to make their own thing up. ( )

This would be very effective in a preschool classroom. The rhythm would engage the children and help them learn phonetic patterns as they laugh & wiggle. They might want to add their own verses, or even use the pattern to tell an entirely different story. I enjoyed the illustrations - though the human faces were a bit weird, overall the cut paper sculpture was simply creative. ( )

An easy read aloud because of it's repetition. Children will start to read along when, "never say boo to a goose," is read. Silly surprise ending. ( )

A book about a kid who would do just abut anything before he said "boo" to a goose!

A little boy says all of these things he would rather do than say "boo" to a goose. They are all very brave things that no one would want to do and then at the end he says he wouldn't say "Boo" to a goose because one time a goose said "boo" to him.
