Summary: It is a book of poetry that teaches shows the seasons changing, and the animals that change with it. It has predatory animals like a fox, and animals that are so small they have trouble fending for themselves, such as a newborn baby turtle. It's a days in their lives of survival, it also shows a very old turtle that for him it is just another day in the life of him.

Personal experience: I loved reading poetry books like this when i was kid. I loved the rhyming and short verses that told a story.

1). It could be used to teach the changing of the seasons and what animals have to do to get ready for it.

2). I could use it to teach children about poetry and how it is set up.

3). The poetry could be used to teach students the order of animals out in the wild.
