Personal secrets are revealed. fingernails are painfully removed and almost every possible local, state, and federal law enforcement agency is involved. Interesting characters and a lively plot make for a good book. This is a good book. ( ) Seattle Police Lt. Lou Boldt is stuck in the middle when he discovers that a guy recently released from jail after serving time for bank fraud is missing and had, before his incarseration, an affair with his wife. I think I might be getting tired of this series. It seems to be more about the boring marriage of these two than any interesting mystery. The Seattle setting is, still, at least interesting. I listened to the audio version and it was....terrific! Very exciting----my first Ridley Pearson and I'm very happy I'm only at the beginning of his work! I hadn't "met" any of the characters before so I will be backtracking at some point to fill in what I have apparently missed. Apparently there are many of his books that people liked better so I'll have to see if I change my mind over time. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
