I was hoping to read more about actual hospice, not grief counseling. All stories but one about parents struggling with a child's death. Very sad. ( ) This book contains six stories of dealing with grief and working WITH hospice in Maine. As a book helping those dealing with the depths of grief, it holds hope that life will continue and that the love of the person who has died will continue. It does NOT deal with (except for the very last entry on music therapy) how hospice helps the dying. Too bad: that is a story people who are perhaps nearing that stage need to hear about, too. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione

HTML: Pulitzer Prize-winning writer Richard Russo and five other Maine authors here prove that the close of life need not be filled with darkness, when hospice help is at hand. These writers recount intensely personal and profoundly moving end-of-life accounts that cover a wide spectrum of human experience. All six authors are donating their royalties to a Maine hospice; Down East will also donate 10 percent of proceeds to the same cause. .Non sono state trovate descrizioni di biblioteche |
