It makes numbers fun for students to learn ( ) The author, Bonnie Worth, writes, "One Cent, Two Cents, Old Cent, New Cent" in a rhyme. The picture book discusses the timeline of money being created by different countries dating back to BC. The book is very informative on how money is created, what it looks like, and what it is used for in different countries which is presented through rhyming. The information is presented in a colorful, playful, and informative way for children to learn about money This book is very versatile, but I don't think I would use it in my classroom other than for a choral reading, since it has a rhyme scheme. I would use this book in 2nd-3rd grade for that. I could also use it in a history lesson because it talks about the history of money. I think kids would like this because it is a Dr. Suess book and is comical. Genre: Informational Style: This book is written in a rhyming format. It adds to the story by providing a fun layout while still being an educational book. Review: This book is about the Cat in the Hat walking through the history of money with a young girl and boy. They start back in ancient times to see how money has changed over the years. This book is a good example of an informational story because it accurately portrays the history of money from past to present. Media: marker nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
