Britain is not yet at war with Germany and there is a last chance to prevent it, but von Romain could destroy that chance. This novel portrays not only thrills and adventure pertinent to the time, but is also relevant and representative of many secret battles fought since. It is timeless, demanding, and very skilfully written.
