This is book five and six in a series and I am left thiking that the series wouod have been better without them.
Sita is a vampire who has lived a very long time. she seems to manage ok with the modern concepts of freedom and in previous novels has showen that she can do violence and revenge.
The main characters in this book are the same it is just that the story line is a little, I do know its a vampire novel, far fetched... I like vampire books, I like alien books, but there is nothing glueing these two things together that would make me put them in a book. If perhaps the aliens had something to do with vampires, creating them etc I could perhaps understand but no they just happen to be arround and trying to invade, I think, the world that sita is living in.
I found that I could not stretch to this and perhaps this made the writing seem tawdrey and slow. the action was not there and i found myself loosing the thread.
Read books 1-4 and have a blast, then just stop would be my advice
