Great overview of many different types of homes. ( )

This book provides children with a huge variety of houses to learn about. The author uses each letter of the alphabet, except Z, to explain a different type of home that begins with each letter. There are many houses that I had never even heard of, making it interesting for children and adults to read. The illustrations provide great pictures for readers, which work well with the explanations to convey the purposes of each house included.

This is an excellent book. There are a lot of various facts in this book that would attract reluctant readers. Also, the illustrations are interesting and the content changes while still staying with the same theme of American Homes. I recommend this book. ( )
