A book about animal endings is not common. This book discussing the various animals with playful language will be sure to grab students attention. I'm not sure how I would use this in a lesson but it would be a great read aloud because most students would be grossed out but interested. I would recommend it to reluctant readers. ( )

This book cute but lengthy. A new way to look at animals and appreciate them. The illustrations were funny. I was disappointed. my 8 yr old is a strong reader but lost interest near the end, my 12 yr old liked it for its silliness. My 8 y.o. also wouldnt touch or look at the book since it was about behinds (ridiculous thought!) but as my 12 y.o. read it LOL he became interested. i would use this book to talk about animals, guessing games, appropriateness, for the young -3 but could use it to demonstrate and teach illustration skills in 5+. ( )
