One thing that I did not like about the book was the language throughout. It was not very engaging because the young boy in the book said he "lost his dumb balloon" six times in six pages. It was so repetitive, which made the book less interesting and the reader wasn't really excited to see what was going to happen next. A reason I did like the book was the message that it presented. This would be a good book to teach children how to deal with things that they lose. The boy kept calling the balloon dumb and said he was not thinking about it because he didn't care but it was easy to see that he did truly care that he lost it. It isn't until the end of the book that he expresses how he is feeling and cries. After he cries he feels better. This book would be good to teach children to show their emotions because they will get over certain crises much more quickly. The main idea of this book is to teach children how to deal with losing some of their favorite items. ( ) nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
