The story would be appropriate for grades 4-7. This story is a classic and will be loved by students of all ages. A girl named Fern saves Wilbur's life (who happens to be a pig). Along the way, Fern meets other animals and builds a bond with them. This is a heartwarming story for animals lovers about life, kindness and the importance of friendship.
