Since Merlin is still facing some troubles, Morgana sends Jack and Annie on another journey to find a secret of happiness. Jack and Annie travel to modern day Antarctica to learn about happiness from penguins. ( )

Eve of the emperor penguin is a very interesting book. Brother and sister, Jack and Annie go on another mission to help Merlin, the sorcerer of camelot.Jack and Annie go to antarctica. They think they are in past times. But then they see research buildings and realized that they are in current times. They see 4 adults and realized that they are just kids! So they put on their goggles and masks so that no one would know that they are kids. When they get on the bus they are told to introduce themselves, Jack and Annie introduce themselves as reporters. When they get to the foot of a mountain nancy a guide for the 4 grownups find out that Jack and Annie are just kids! Nancy leaves jack and annie in the tent with a heater and 2 blankets.

When nancy left, Annie went out of the tent to take pictures. Jack realizes that there are cracks in the ice, and goes after annie to get her back into the tent. On the way back to the tent they fall into a crack! When they find themselves in a crack they decide to use a wand they got earlier in the series. The use the wand, but it doesn't work. Then they fall into the hole! after they fall they find out that they are moving. When they get out of the darkness they find that they are on an ice raft. They realized that the wand did work. They find an emperor penguin, and the raft takes them to the penguin. When the penguin spoke they understood him. When they went inside a cave they heard strange music. When they got to where the music was there were so many penguins. Then a baby penguin comes up and says to the big penguin that she wants to go with them. When they take the baby penguin and follow the big penguin. When they get out of the cave they use the wand to get back to Nancy. When they got back to the research building they tried to leave but Nancy wouldn't let them. Will they find away out to save merlin? Well find out yourself and read this fiction book. ( )
