Nature in Danger, by Sally Morgan and Rosie Harlow, gives a look at the world of nature and informs the reader about how we are destroying habitats and harming wildlife by the way we are living. Each page has a spread on a certain topic such as where animals live, pollution problems, forests in danger, save our seas, city living, and endangered wildlife among other topics. Each topic has an activity for an individual or class to do as a whole. The activities purposes are to highlight and emphasize the lesson of the chapter.
The book has pictures and illustrations that make the book visually appealing. The illustrations have labels and many of the topics use diagrams to help illustrate the point of the topic.
This book has a lot of information but it is divided into chapters that make it easy to follow. The topics all have to do with nature but they cover a wide array of topics so the book would be useful throughout the school year for a student. The activities would be easy and fun to do, and the materials could be found in any home or classroom.
