( ) A young college professor disbelieves in the supernatural. He finds a whistle in the ruins of a Knights Templars’ preceptors, and later that night, he blows on the whistle. He has a vision of a lone figure in vast expanse. It also seems like the whistle has caused a gust wind to envelope him. More strange events follow, and the professor is unable to explain them away. Classic ghost story. i relistened to the horrorbabble version of this last week and i was again struck by how lovely ian's voice is and how suited he is to horror stories. anyways, i love his story. it has elements of the ocean and the sidhe and its atmospheric in a way that most authors (including me) can only dream of. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione

This is the unabridged audio recording of M.R. James' excellent ghost story 'Oh, Whistle, and I'll Come to You, My Lad'. The author's stories were written with the purpose of being read aloud in the long tradition of spooky Christmas Eve tales. This highly-praised version, narrated by David Collings, is sure to scare and delight in equal measure. Non sono state trovate descrizioni di biblioteche |
