EVEN THE NICEST PEOPLE GET JEALOUS Carole Hanson is used to being the best junior rider at Pine Hollow Stables. Shes taken it for granted, in a quiet, nice way. Carole doesnt need to brag about something that shes good at, that she loves with all her heart, and that she plans to make her lifes work. Then a new rider starts taking lessons at the stable. Shes younger than Carole, and shes a better rider. Carole is jealous, and this new feeling is ruining the place she loves best. Maybe being number one means more to Carole than she thought! Carole soon realises that the new student excels in the saddle, but on the ground shes got a lot to work on. With dread, Carole realises that she is the best person to help this motherless girl with her problems. But can she forge a friendship with someone she envies? Carole is fighting a battle with jealousy and it looks like the green-eyed monster is winning! CAN YOU HAVE TOO MUCH OF A GOOD THING? The girls of The Saddle Club have headed west to the Bar None Ranch. This time theyve brought their friend, Emily, who has cerebral palsy. Emily is going to help the ranchs owner make it accessible to riders with special needs. Then the four girls meet a guest who is their own age. Shes a former rider who lost part of her leg in a motorbike accident. She doesnt plan to get on a horse ever again. In the meantime, The Saddle Club and Emily are riding so much, theyre saddle sore! Is it possible to have too much of a good thing? Non sono state trovate descrizioni di biblioteche |
