A great take (introduction) on Pema's thoughts on Buddhist Life and how to decide what Buddhism means to You. With so many fine examples of how to live a joyous and free existence through meditative thought and the power of meditation. A sort of guide, about how one may begin to win over? your authentic self in this ever so subjective hologram we call Life using her take on certain Buddhist principles, may be just what you need...to challange yourself to becoming more awake and spirit centered in all aspects of your daily living.
Helps with just how to BE...how to become the you that you truly believe you are or want to be. How to be with others, as authentically as one can, how to self empower, and self direct, and actualize in, the world that you yourself actually inhabit. There is some (so called) harsh language, which most of us have heard and heard, throughout our lifetimes until it hardly holds any severe affect, nor should it, anymore.
I recommend this collection of books if you can get it~ I bought mine as an exclusive with a book club, and I value this book very highly, I wouldn't like to think I might never had read it.
I think every human being alive should read these books (easily found separately) at least once. The collection contains these of her works:

The Wisdom of No Escape

Start Where You Are

When Things Fall Apart.
