I was lucky enough to borrow it from another library system. This amazing cookbook is broken up by the cuisine of the different regions of Slovenia. Lots of family stuff I remember, like of course potica, and prleška gibanica - we do love our cottage cheese and filo dough. For the American-born person such as I, a few of the dishes are shocking - the mavzlji or meatballs begin with "pig's head including the brains" and continue with a pig's "caul" - I'm not even sure where that's located!
