Ellie has always been different from others. She tends to blame her powers for the problems in her life. When she unexpectedly uncovers a grisly secret at the same time she meets a great guy she starts to imagine the worst about him. She must solve the case to make sure the bad guy doesn't get away.

The connection between Ellie and Brian is practically non-existent and doesn't really make sense to me and this book it isn't as gripping as some of his others ( )

This book had several good points over other books in this series: mostly it had interesting use of psychic powers. Brett was set-up to be the bad guy from the beginning, but he also had his own powers, so it was really nice that he wasn't. I really liked that the two mind readers found one-another. ( )
