Although the boys in the story fight a lot,, I do hope that many children would pick this book and enjoy reading this story of simpler times. Not every household had TV, much less all the other media kids have nowadays and the kids enjoyed being outside playing soccer. Aside from the kinds of snacks the kids enjoyed, I don't think there is much of a cultural difference between the French kids and other kids in the world. I may read more of these books when I get a chance.
Nicholas Againis the second in a series of books about a young schoolboy who is amusing, endearing and always in trouble. Whether at school or at home, the children are caught up in a series of hilarious escapades that always result in confusion - at least for their teachers and parents.
