This retelling of one of Aesop's fables has wonderfully vivid artwork. The images are bright and bold, while also rather simplistic. The bees have two large round eyes each, and humanistic, smiling mouths. There is also a great deal of geometric shapes used in the representation of textiles and architecture.

The North Wind blows with all his might, and while leaves blow about, ships sink in the harbor, and the animals are frightened, the horseman only draws his cloak tighter about himself. When the Sun takes his turn and begins to shine, birds sing, the animals take a rest, the people come out to gossip, and the horseman removes his cloak (along with all his clothes) to go take a cooling swim in the river.
