Billy's parent bring home a new baby and he is excited but soon after he finds out the baby can't do much and that his parents give the baby more attention he gets very upset. His mother tells him she knows how he feels but the baby is as much a part of the family as he is. Well Billy decides that he is gonna act like a baby so everyone will give him attention too. After being a baby for a while he realizes that its better to be his own age and starts to help out his mom with the baby. Ages: 4-6 Source: Pierce College Library Billy new baby brother and it seems like he can't do anything right. He is insanely jealous of his baby brother and imagines life if he were to go away, he tried to push his baby brother and tries to get his parents attention. Ounce Billy's mom makes him realize how important he is as the big brother and how much more he can do. He realizes he can run and play when the baby can only really sleep and eat. He relies how special the baby is and loves him as a vital part of the whole family. With very simple yellow, blue ink and white illustrations this books is a simple little gem with a precious message about accepting someone new into the family. Billy learn to love his baby brother and ceases to be jealous of him.
