Senior citizen is hard to keep up with despite a heart condition and impending move away from the farm.

This is the first of the "Dearest Dorothy" books I've read. It took me awhile to get into it (say, 4 or 5 chapters). I'm not sure if that was because I didn't know, and therefore care about, the characters or what.

It felt a bit like a Fannie Flagg wannabe (small-town, but no quirky twist in the end) and a Debbie Macomber's Promise, Texas books (no romance-yet-but stranger comes into town and has to find her place in it). I'm interested enough that I want to read more about Partonville and its residents. ( )

Dorothy's saga continues right where it left off. Once again a nice easy read with wonderful characters that you come to love. ( )

Dorothy is at it again. Changes occur, but she takes them head on. ( )
